Your company starts in a cave. A serial killer's hoard lies somewhere inside, thirty soldiers are marching to seize it, and whatever you carry out is your start-up capital.
Into the Odd rules · 3 to 6 players · one evening · A5 in full colour

You found a company together with a few other ambitious minds. What you lack is money. Rumor says a dead killer kept a hoard in a cave outside town, and you are not the only ones who heard it.
Thirty soldiers are on the road to take it. You have a head start and very little else. Every room you open and every risk you take is a choice between more capital and a way home.
Petter Fornes wrote, designed and laid out the game himself in Trondheim. It plays like a classic OSR adventure, with a company sheet next to the character sheet.
Can your Company secure enough capital to survive?
Whatever you carry out of the cave becomes your capital. The last roll of the night decides the answer.Make characters and fill in the company sheet together. Who you are, what you want to build and what you are willing to risk for it.
Play the starting adventure, Christman and the Devil. Clear procedures, low friction and real danger, with the soldiers getting closer.
Count what you carried out. One roll on your capital decides the fate of the company: success, failure or something in between.

Petter and KR1 are working on what comes after the final roll: running the company itself, OSR style. No date yet.

No. Gründer is a complete game. The 24-page rulebook has everything, and it uses the Into the Odd rules by Chris McDowall, so if you know Cairn, Mausritter or Mythic Bastionland you already know how it plays.
Only at the edges. At the table it plays like a classic OSR adventure: a cave, a hoard, a clock running out. The business part is the reason you go in, and the last roll at the end.
One evening. Gründer is built as a one-shot, and the session ends with the final roll that decides the fate of the company.
